Biophysical approaches for cell characterization

In my talk I will give an overview on biophysical parameters to quantify cells (e.g. structure, shape, distribution, dynamics, mechanics) and present a number of tools for such quantification (microscopy, FRAP, microfabrication, micropatterning, AFM, RT-DC). We will also discuss cellular functions (e.g. migration, search) related to these parameters and how they can be quantified.
