Ludger Santen, PI of projects A8 and B1 of the SFB 1027 and Professor of Theoretical Physics at Saarland University, will become the new university president on April 1, 2024. The University Council and Senate unanimously elected him as university president today. Now the appointment by Science Minister Jakob von Weizsäcker is pending. Congratulations, Ludger!
